Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP®) is a non-invasive solution to hair loss in which hair follicles are replicated to create fuller-looking hair. 6emp Certified Artists apply an organic, charcoal-based pigment to the scalp with micro-fine needles to create thousands of tiny impressions, thus, giving the illusion of short hair. This affordable solution can also be used to enhance an existing hair transplant or provide an alternative to individuals who want a non-surgical treatment suitable for all types of hair loss.
How does it work?
A 6emp Scalp Micropigmentation Artist applies specialized pigments using multiple needle sizes and penetration depths, depending on the specific area of the scalp being treated, the skin tone of the individual, and the desired final appearance. The 6emp technique is a highly advanced form of cosmetic pigmentation. The needles used for SMP do not penetrate as deeply as with some other techniques, and we use tested pigments that do not blur or fade overtime. We use micro-fine needles in single and triple clusters to achieve the guaranteed consistency of results that the SMP technique demands.
